Alec Baldwin’s wife Hilaria Baldwin just shared a picture of what appears to be a holiday card that she posted on Instagram, addressing the actor’s recent shooting scandal that arose on Thursday after he was accused of physically assaulting his wife and racial remarks made to a photographer, according to a report from The New York Times.
In the post, Ms. Baldwin shared what appears to be a holiday card she made for the couple, which appears to show a wedding-ish-looking scene, with a vacationing couple at the top and below her baby-wearing husband with his arms slung around her waist as they smile, with a border that features the date and a message in capital letters: “Happy family holidays! Happy Fathers Day. Thanks for all the love this year! Enjoy your day family”
Ms. Baldwin, the co-founder of her family’s wellness brand, began posting the pictures after she and Mr. Baldwin took to social media to publicly apologize to the model and reporter Jay Bellavia, who Ms. Baldwin had allegedly called the N-word and threatened to hit with a bicycle after he asked the former 30 Rock star questions about why Mr. Baldwin had taken down his Donald Trump imitator, his marriage to Ms. Baldwin and his acting career.
“I apologize for the hurt my words have caused,” the actor wrote, adding that he’d been drinking the night of the altercation, and “deeply regret what I said and did. Words are powerful and I am sorry that my anger got the best of me.”
Ms. Baldwin also apologized to Mr. Bellavia, saying that “I made a mistake and in no way do I condone violence or any kind of abuse at any time.”
Although Mr. Baldwin was initially arrested on Thursday after police responding to a 911 call, according to the Times, he eventually declined to be charged and was released.
